Order and delivery terms

1. General Terms and Conditions


Ranuan Tarvikekeskus Oy (Business ID: 0730031-3) where the seller of the goods is Ranuan Tarvikekeskus Oy (hereinafter the seller). The following terms and conditions apply to the commercial relationship between the seller and its customers. The Seller reserves the right to change these terms and conditions by unilateral decision without prior notice. Orders are subject to the terms and conditions valid at the time of ordering, which the customer accepts when placing the order. The seller is not liable for damage caused by force majeure. Force majeure is considered to be an unforeseeable circumstance or change in circumstances which is beyond the control of the seller and which the seller cannot reasonably overcome. The seller is obliged to notify the customer as soon as possible of any force majeure.  

2. Customer

The seller sells products and services to an adult individual (hereinafter consumer) and, with the consent of the guardian, also to persons under 18 years of age (consumer trade). Consumer trade complies with current Finnish and European Union consumer protection legislation. These terms and conditions are not valid to the extent that they restrict the consumer's rights under mandatory law. Delivery time estimates are based on information provided by importers and manufacturers. Neither Tarvikekeskus Oy nor its suppliers are responsible for delays caused by unforeseen changes outside its sphere influence. The binding sales agreement enters into force when the buyer receives an order confirmation provided by the system. Registration: When placing an order, the customer is obliged to provide his complete contact information, which includes at least the name, address, telephone number and e-mail address of the customer. When providing the information, the customer registers with Tarvikekeskus Oy's online store's customer database, the information of which is used in accordance with the Register Description. If desired, the customer can also do business in the online store without registering. Data protection: The information of e-commerce customers is stored in an electronic customer register, where the information is used to process and deliver e-commerce orders and to provide information related to customer relationship management. The information will be used for marketing purposes if the customer has given permission during or after registration. 

In accordance with the Personal Data Act, Registry Description: www.tarvikekeskusoy.fi/rekisteriseloste The customer may prohibit the use and processing of his data for marketing purposes and check the information concerning himself by contacting him. At Tarvikekeskusoy.fi, the purpose of cookies is to facilitate, improve and speed up the transaction experience. 3. Products and price 


The prices presented in the price list are presented including and excluding VAT.Ttransport costs / freight are not included unless otherwise stated. Before paying for the order, the customer is informed of the price of the product with transport costs in the shopping cart. We reserve the right to send small items by letter to your home and the right to send items larger than the maximum dimensions of Posti parcel machine to the post office. If there are obvious price errors in the price list, the product will not be sold at a significantly lower price if it can be assumed that the customer has been aware of the existence of an error.

The prices of the Tarvikekeskusoy.fi online store may differ from the prices in the stores. You can inquire about the prices of the stores directly from the stores. If the price of the product rises before processing the shipment, the products ordered in Tarvikekeskusoy.fi will be delivered at the original price. If changes are made to the order, the price of the product will be determined according to the price at the time of the change. The seller reserves the right to restrict the sale of products in exceptionally large batches. The seller does not sell its products for resale. Products manufactured, ordered or modified at the customer's request will not be granted a unilateral right of return. Any costs incurred in connection with a cancellation of an order will be charged in full from the buyer.

4. Payment methods


Svea Payments Oy (formerly Suomen Maksuturva Oy) (Business ID: 2121703-0) is the partner in payment of Tarvikekeskusoy.fi website. An up-to-date list of payment methods can be found on the website at www.tarvikekeskuskusoy.fi/toimitustavat. Delivery costs vary depending on the delivery methods and can be seen when ordering. As a rule, products ordered through Posti and Matkahuolto will be sent no later than on the working day following the order, if the product is in stock. If the product is in importer's stock, the aim is to get the product for transport within 2-8 working days. There is no delivery charge for online store orders picked up directly from the store.

Due to the size of the selection, not all products are in our stock, in which case please contact our stores directly. Such products are usually delivered within 1-5 business days depending on the order rhythm and shipping schedules. The seller is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure. The seller is not obliged to reserve other products of the same order to the customer if the availability of one product is poor or its delivery is delayed for reasons beyond the seller's control. Alternatively, the customer can accept either a delayed post-delivery of the product or cancellation of the order. Post-delivery postage costs will be charged normally. Post-delivery order products are reserved for a maximum of 7 days, after which the order is canceled unless the customer has agreed pm post-delivery.

5. Exchange, right of return / withdrawal (consumers)

According to the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the consumer has the right to cancel an order placed in online stores or part of it within 14 days of receiving the shipment. The customer must notify the seller of the cancellation separately. Simply returning the goods or not collecting the shipment is not enough to cancel. Returns must be made within 14 days of the notice of cancellation. In connection with the cancellation, the consumer will be refunded the original purchase price and the original delivery costs minus the cost of returning the product in the event that the consumer has used the Post's return service provided by the seller. The goods can be returned free of charge to the retailer's store indicated in the order confirmation.

The customer is obliged to check the contents of the shipment within 14 days and to read the product's terms and conditions before use. Returns must follow the return instructions included with the shipment, which can also be found at www.tarvikekeskusoy.fi/palautus_peruutus The easiest way to return and cancel an order is through the Buyer's Assistant function. The customer will receive a link to this service in the payment confirmation message received from Svea.

6. Warranty and liability for defects


The warranty covers defects in the product (according to warranty clause) during the warranty period. The seller reserves the right to verify defects in the products. The cost of an unjustified service visit will be charged in full to the buyer if the product has been delivered for unjustified warranty service.

7. Complaints


Complaints are made to the seller, whose customer is obliged to present a proof of purchase, receipt or other proof of the place and time of purchase when returning or when complaining of a defect in the goods. The seller reserves the right to charge the buyer for the cost of searching for the receipt. Complaints will only be processed in writing. Complaints can be made electronically via the Online Buyer's Services function.  The customer will receive a link to this service in the payment confirmation message received from Svea. Alternatively, a free-form complaint can be submitted to the store that sent the product either by e-mail or letter. You can see the sender store and contact information in the referral and order confirmation. If the dispute concerning  cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the Consumer Advice of the Local Register Office (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi). The customer may bring an action against the seller for disputes arising from this debt relationship either in the district court of the seller's domicile or in the district court of the place in Finland in whose jurisdiction he is domiciled. If the customer is not domiciled in Finland, disputes will be handled in the Lapland District Court. Representation fees are not reimbursed, as the Consumer Advice and the Consumer Disputes Board provide assistance in resolving disputes free of charge.
